Information about the old brewery

The old brewery in Broken Hill was a long time dream, once the building had become available in may 2015. We jumped at the amazing opportunity to fulfil this dream, after many hours of hard work with family and friends, the old brewery is now a dream come true. We spent many hours of removing walls opening the space up, I could really see the potential of great unique function centre. We have kept the rustic feel of the Brewery with exposed beams, brickwork and finished rustic wooden floors. The brewery has a comfortable warehouse feel with an industrial touch.

Brendan Barlow born in Broken Hill has a real passion for hospitality and local tourism, after starting his career in hospitality in 2005 at local cafes and catering and accomodation his passion for hospitality gre. After moving to Adelaide and living there for several years, Brendan's longing to return home to family and friends to start on new Adventures. Returning to continue to work in accommodation and bars and kitchens. Brendan strived to open his own business. After leasing the Tydvil Hotel Bistro (1891) for successfully 3 Years, it was time to move on to Greater things, this being the old Brewery. After the purchase of the brewery Brendan started working towards other career goals, to tie in Teaching at Robison College. Forging a career in Entertainment as Shelita Buffet and Teaching hospitality at TAFE.

The old brewery hosts the perfect atmosphere for any celebration, With a range of unique spaces the old brewery can accommodate weddings, engagements and celebrations of any size and character from small boutique events to large galla events, This is the perfect venue for not only weddings but also fabulous and fun birthday parties, end of year Christmas parties or work functions, your spooky Halloween parties and themed events and dinners. The perfect location for the perfect wedding for a wedding ceremony, in the rustic gardens or historic cellar hosting a beautiful reception in the open bar and rustic warehouse areas.
